Employee Mental Health Overview

Collin College provides confidential and voluntary assistance through its Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to full-time employees and their household members who may be faced with a variety of personal and work-related challenges. In addition, TimelyCare is available to part-time employees and full-time employees not enrolled in Collin medical insurance through Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS). Mental Health Resources FAQs

**Please keep in mind, Collin College cannot request information from the EAP without an individual's consent.**


Employee Assistance Program offers full-time employees, and their household members, access to short-term counseling for up to eight visits per service type per year at no cost. Service types include work/life balance issues, stress, grief, marriage counseling, family counseling.

To access the EAP, you can either:

• Call 888.993.7650, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, or
• Login to the EAP Services portal . Choose "Sign Up" and enter "collin" (all lower case) in the company code field.


Your well-being matters. That is why Collin College offers a free Employee Assistance Program as one of our benefits, providing confidential mental health counseling and a wide range of whole health support services for all full-time employees and household family members such as:

• Legal Referrals
• Financial Consultation
• Personal Assistance
• Medical Advocacy


Employees can utilize any available time off such as sick leave, personal leave, and vacation leave (if applicable). Employees can submit an absence request for time off in Workday.


AllOne Health offers the Take the High Road program that reimburses members for their cab, Uber, Lyft, and other ride-sharing fares in the event that you are impaired due to substance use such as over consumption of alcohol, or medication effects such as drowsiness, or you are experiencing an extreme emotional event (upset/troubled over a situation) that prevents you from operating a vehicle. This service is available once per year per participant (18+ years of age) in the United States. The maximum reimbursement is $45.00, excluding tip. This program process is simple and confidential. To use this service, call the helpline at 888.993.7650 for more information about reimbursement. The receipt may be submitted up to 60 days following the date of service.


You can access EAP online resources, newsletters and work/life balance resource videos. 

 

Topics include parenting, aging, personal balance, thriving (health tools, healthy eating, healthy recipes), working, living, and even international information. You can also find information specific to infant and toddler health, children's health, women's health, men's health, and senior health.

 

The Working section offers great resources from an employment perspective on career development, career transition, training & development, workplace productivity and workplace safety. You can also find newsletters on various topics for both employees and supervisors.


AllOne Health also has a BenefitHub where you can find discounts through their marketplace program. You will be asked to create a login through the AllOneHealth website. For this benefit, you will need to use your your email, and the company code "collin". Discounts are offered for items through Dell, Inc., and Apple, and on movie tickets at up to 30% off! Employee pricing offers are available through Lenovo, Hertz, HP, FTD, Priceline.com, and more.


Yes! Collin College is now offering a telehealth benefit, via TimelyCare to adjunct faculty, part-time staff, full-time employees not enrolled in a Collin College medical plan, and students!
