Ready to start? The first step to starting your future at Collin College is to complete the online admissions application through Apply Texas by the application deadline.

Apply Today

You will receive an email with your login credentials. Use these credentials to sign into your Collin Applicant Portal to see your customized list of application requirements and to submit the following required documentation.

• Passport - Your passport must be valid for at least the next six months.
• Most recent high school or college transcript
• English Proficiency (see English proficiency exemptions)
• Financials
• Foreign address

Once you are admitted, you will receive your welcome email with login credentials, you can sign into your Workday Student portal to see your customized list of registration and onboarding requirements.

 

Registration Requirements:

• Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination Requirement - Students under 22 must provide proof of immunization or exemption.
• Campus Safety Training
• New Student Orientation
• F-1 Student Orientation
• F-1 Visa
• TSI Assessment - Students must complete the TSI assessment or have an approved exemption. Visit the TSI page for information.

Post-arrival Requirements (submit within 10 days of arriving):

• I-94
• Local U.S. address

As an F-1 student, it is your responsibility to register and maintain your F-1 status. To be considered “in status” you must follow these requirements:

• Take at least 12 credit hours (full time)
  • Developmental English (INRW) course(s) does not count towards your 12 credit hours in SEVIS.
  • Wintermester and Maymester course(s) do not count towards your 12 credit hours in SEVIS.
• Take a minimum of 9 credit hours face-to-face or in a hybrid setting
  • You may take one 3-credit hour course online.
  • Web, synchronous and asynchronous, and blended classes are considered online.
  • Face-to-face/hybrid classes must span the full duration of the term (starting at the beginning of the term and ending at the end of the term)

• Tuition and fee charges will be reflected on your account the day after you register for a course. All courses must be paid for by the payment deadline.
