Students discuss registration at the Plano Campus

Open registration for Collin College’s Wintermester 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters will start on Friday, Oct. 27. The college also provides early registration opportunities for returning students with credits earned.

Here’s a breakdown of the registration dates: 

  • Students with 50 or more earned credit hours can register beginning on Oct. 24. 
  • Students who have completed 30 or more credit hours can register on Oct. 25. 
  • Students with at least one credit hour can register starting Oct. 26. 

For all students who have been admitted to Collin College and are eligible to enroll, open registration will begin on Oct. 27. 

To register for classes, individuals should visit CougarWeb at https://cougarweb.collin.edu/.  They can navigate to the “Registration Tools” channel on the home tab, and then select “Registration and Planning (Add, Drop & Withdraw)” to choose their desired classes. 

Collin College understands that its students have diverse schedules and commitments, which is why the institution offers 24/7 registration access through the CougarWeb portal. 

If students encounter any issues while logging into the portal, the technical support team is ready to assist, they can call 972.377.1777. 

For convenience, Collin College accepts VISA, MasterCard, or Discover credit card payments online. Additionally, personal checks are welcome for in-person transactions or through the secure web check program. 

Please note that the early payment deadline for Wintermester/Spring classes is Dec. 6 by 7 p.m.

Prospective students are encouraged to register early to secure their spots in the classes needed for the Wintermester 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters.
