Census Date
Census date refers to the date in an academic term on which an institution is required to certify a student's enrollment to the coordinating board for purposes of determining formular funding for the institution. (Texas Education Code 54.0501)
The census date varies based on the length of the course. For the standard 16-week term, census is the twelfth (12th) class day. The census date for various parts of term are listed below. If your specific course dates are not listed you may contact the Registrar's Office to obtain the census date for your course(s).
