Freshman | Dual Credit
Step 1: Apply
If this is your first time to take any classes with Collin College, you will need to complete an admission application.
|Apply for admission online|
Within 3-5 business days you will receive an email with your Collin College ID, password, and new Collin email address.
Tip: Stay connected by linking your personal email address to your Collin email.
Step 2: Remove All Holds
|Get Ready to Register|
|• Submit high school transcript(s) with graduation date or General Education Development (GED)|
|• Provide proof of meningitis vaccination|
|• Complete assessment testing|
|• Submit proof of residency, if required|
|• Participate in New Student Orientation - mandatory for entering Freshmen|
|• Complete Campus Safety Training - found in CougarWeb, on the Student tab, in the Safety and Wellness channel|
|• Dual Credit students must also turn in a High School Registration Permission form or Home School Registration Permission form every semester|
