Course Outcomes
Study of cultural and social norms, values, beliefs, and activities associated with dying patients. Emphasis on communication and supportive techniques when dealing with the patient and survivors. Relate the diversity of belief systems and social norms of the dying and their survivors; and display skills in communication and supportive techniques when dealing with the patient and survivors.
