Course Registration Deadline
Phlebotomy: May 6, 2024
CNA: May 28, 2024
* = Students will be permitted for enrollment on a first-come, first-served basis, based on application completion (including steps 4 and 5 of the application process), until the course is full. Any additional applicants will be placed on the waiting list. Course availibility is subject to student enrollment.
**PLEASE NOTE: Students should register for their courses as soon as possible after receiving their course registration information. Any student who does not register AND pay for their courses by their given deadline will forfeit their spot in the program and be moved to the waiting list.**

The Application Process
- Apply for Collin College
Apply to Collin College and complete ALL admission requirements.
Apply for a Scholarship
If you are a Collin College student with a user account skip to STEP 2.

Apply for Financial Aid - Apply for Health Professions
Complete the Health Professions Application Form, and select the program of your preference. As part of your application form, you will be required to complete five short answer questions and submit a link for a 1-2 minute video essay.
(Please watch this simple video on how to upload your video from your phone or PC to YouTube.)
Please make sure to set the video Privacy to "Public" or "Unlisted" so that it is viewable to staff with the link provided in the application.
Please read ALL questions and directions CAREFULLY to avoid any scheduling errors or delays in processing your application.
Keep in mind, your application is not considered complete until you have finished steps 3.

- Purchase your Immunization Tracker and Background Check through Complio. Visit the Complio website to create an account. Click here for the Student User Guide to Complio.
Please Note: Your application for your desired program is not considered complete until all required documents are Compliant in your Complio immunization tracker account.
- Pay for your Drug Testing.
Fill in the required information, then select option "Health Sciences On-Site Drug Testing Only."
Pay for your drug test. You will receive a receipt of your payment via email.Upload this receipt to your Complio Immunization Tracker account.
Drug tests are completed at random during your class/lab, please do not take an on-site drug screen on your own.Please review the FAQs for more information.

- Register, Once Accepted
WAIT for an email on your Collin email account from the Health Professions Staff stating that your application has been received and is complete. We will provide your registration information at this time.
Please complete your course registration AS SOON AS POSSIBLE via your CougarWeb account and pay for your classes. Students who do not register and pay for their classes by their given deadline are subject to lose their registration permits and be placed on the waiting list for their program.
Attend the Health Professions Orientation and purchase your needed scrubs, books and supplies. For information on scrubs and more, please visit our FAQs Page.
