Jazz Camp and Festival
Collin Jazz Festival
Established in 1993, the Collin Jazz Festival features performances by middle school and high school jazz bands from across the region, as well as evening concerts featuring Collin College jazz students and faculty. Each year, a special featured guest artist is invited to perform and teach at the festival.
Texas All-Star Jazz Camp
Each summer, Collin College hosts the Texas All-Star Jazz Camp, open to musicians of all levels (minimum age 13). Students participate in daily classes and rehearsals, performing a concert at the end of the week. Jazz camp faculty include members of the Collin College Music Department as well as jazz performers and educators from across the country. Each year, a special featured guest artist is invited to perform and teach at the camp.
